Entrepreneurs Dion DeLoof and James Yeagle started Anteo Group in 2002 in Atlanta and while most staffing companies were cutting back their internal staff and smaller companies in the industry were struggling to stay in business, they expanded the business and set up an operation in the UK headed up by Mike Smith. They felt strongly that there was an opportunity to offer a unique solution to clients in need of top technical talent. After considering various financing options to start Anteo Group, James, Dion and Mike took a leap of faith and elected to finance the company primarily themselves.
In the spirit of a garage start-up the early days of the company started with Dion, James and Mike setting up the business out of their homes. Growth was quick enough to move the company to a funky art deco style office space in Atlanta’s re-emerging Midtown corridor and London’s Square Mile. In just three years, Anteo Group would grow from an ambitious start-up into a successful and well-respected specialty recruiting and consulting firm.
